H1 tag missing in Vantage theme on home page

Hi

Please can you assist with the “The tag is missing” error I am getting in Bing Webmaster tools. I have the Custom Home Page setting turned on using the Vantage theme.

    Edited to avoid using the tag which messed up the original post

    Hi Ian

    This might change your home page design. The home page doesn’t have an H1 tag because the page title isn’t used. If you’d like to bring that back you could go to Pages > Home and then change the page template in the right column to Full Width Page. You could then change your home page title to something meaningful. Alternatively you could use the Visual Editor widget to insert an H1 tag somewhere else on the page. To get access to this widget first install the following plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/.

    Followed your advice to change the format to full width page and it worked a treat…
