H1 Heading Missing on Homepage

I have been using the SiteOrigin Unwind on all my websites and I really loved it. Everything is clean and the design is elegant. I’m facing a quite a critical SEO issue on my website. I checked on multiple SEO Checker websites and ran multiple tests. Every test on each website displayed that the H1 Header on my Homepage is missing. My website link is https://www.thegoldenpan.com. Please help me as it is quite a critical problem to not have a H1 tag on the homepage.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi, thanks for posting :)

If a site title is used instead of a logo, it’ll be wrapped in an h1 tag. Without a site or page title, there isn’t anywhere the theme can automatically assist with an h1 tag. What you could do on your home page is go to Pages, create a page called Home then go to SettingsReading and assign the static home page as your home page. Next, edit the page concerned with Page Builder by SiteOrigin and insert a Post Loop widget, select the template you’d like to use to display your posts. You’re now free to insert a Headline widget above the Post Loop to make use of an h1 tag or simply make use of the page title. You can change the Home page name to any title that might be useful.

Thank you so much! The issue has been resolved. I installed the SiteOrigin Page Builder and the widgets bundle, recreated the homepage with the a proper Heading without compromising with my website logo.

I just noticed that whenever I click on the “Older Posts” link under the last post of the page, it doesn’t displays the older posts instead it just displays the homepage again. How can I fix this because with this problem visitors won’t be able to see my older posts. You can check my website for instance Website

Try going to SettingsPermalinks and clicking Save, that might help.

If that doesn’t help, temporarily deactivate all plugins at once and re-test to see if a working baseline is available.
