grid gallery

Hello,
I have the aim to display images on my starting website. I’m using or the vantage theme or North-theme, and the site origin builder. I want to display images in a grid (3 or 4 next to each ohter, and then be able to click on the image in order to get a larger view of the image.
Which html/css -code or widget/plug-in can you recommend, that works with the siteorigin page builder?

thank you,
Hennie

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Hennie

    Thanks for reaching out.

An easy to way to do this might be with the following Jetpack modules:

    https://jetpack.com/support/tiled-galleries/
    https://jetpack.com/support/carousel/

Once Jetpack and the above two modules have been activated, insert a regular gallery into your page via the Add Media button. If you’re working in our Page Builder plugin you can use the SiteOrigin Editor widget to insert a gallery, it has an Add Media button available.

Thank You Andrew. I'm going to start with jetpack as you suggested.
I’m working with page origin builder Should I still use jetpack in this case? Or can I better use Site Origin Editor?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Sure :)

You can still use this combo with Page Builder, insert a SiteOrigin Editor widget then click Add Media and insert your gallery as you would when not working with Page Builder.

If you need Page Builder for the overall page layout then use it, but, if the gallery is the only item on the page or if the page has a simple top to bottom layout then you probably don’t need to use Page Builder in this case.

    Hi, I Work Here

Sorry to hear about the issue. Please, go to Plugins and confirm that the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is enabled. Next, go to Plugins > SiteOrigin Widgets and ensure that the Hero widget is activated. Not all widgets are activated by default. Let us know how that goes.
