Grey border around search icon

Hi there,

Another question. Today I noticed on the homepage only there is a grey line on the right of the search icon in the menu. It doesn’t always appear and only on the homepage.

Is there a way to remove it? Here is a screenshot http://stage.websitescantik.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/search-grey.jpg

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rhys

All looks normal on OS X in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Is that Windows 7/8 Chrome you’re running there?

Thanks for the reply Andrew – yes it is windows 8 chrome. I only get the issue in chrome on the homepage, I’m not sure what it could be..

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rhys

I have had a look in Chrome (Desktop and Metro App) on Windows 8 and cannot see the issue you are reporting. Please try Clearing the chrome cache. If that does not work please try viewing in an incognito window as this will disable any extensions that may be interfering.

    Hi both,

I have tried clearing the cache and viewing in incognito and it is still appearing at my end. However if it is not appearing from any of your sides it may be an issue specific to my computer/browser?

I’m not sure what else to try to resolve it..

    Hi, I Work Here

Do you perhaps have another computer around you could test on? Confirming the problem on another machine would be a good start.

I’ve checked on another machine (macbook with chrome) and no issue, I’m guessing it is an issue specific to my PC then.

Thanks for your help guys, love the theme and plugin!

    Hi, I Work Here

If possible, please, try testing on a Windows machine in the same browser as you’re using. If that’s a mission then no worries :)

Unfortunately not, I only have access to one windows machine and one mac here at the moment..

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the update. I had another look around now and we seem to be good. If the problem persists on other machines, please, let us know and we can take another look.
