Google verification on Vantage Theme

Hello

I have tried and tried to get my site verified on google, downloading several plug-ins, but none work. I am about to delete the whole website and download another theme if I cant get this sorted today. I cannot set up google for business until I have done this. I would be extremely grateful for any help anyone can give me.

    Hello, thank you for your email. I have just downloaded yet another plug-in to try to get my Vantage theme site verified on google, but to no avail. i have been trying to sort this out for days but cannot crack it. I shall have to delete the whole vantage theme website and start another one if i cant find out how to verify my site in the next day or so as I have wasted so much time on it.

    Please can you help me?

    Hi Jacqui

    Sorry to hear about the hassle.

    Vantage uses a very standard header file, as a result it’s unlikely this is a theme specific problem you’re facing. Yoast SEO has a verification field that you can use, here is a little info on it:

    Alternatively, you could use one of Google’s alternative verification methods like uploading a file to your root directory using FTP or your Hosting File Manager.

    If for some reason, Yoast doesn’t work for you and you aren’t able to use the FTP file upload option, we can advise further.
