When I set-up the Google Maps widget, I set it to interactive (it displays interactive in preview) but when I click done, update the page and go to view that page, the map is always static. When I go back into the settings the map is set to static.
As seen in other posts, I’ve disabled all other plugins except SiteOrigin widgets and PageBuilder and the same results still occurs.
(My page is not yet on the web as it is still in development).
Thanks.
Hi Malonep
Is there any difference in the outcome if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Sixteen?
No, I switched to Twenty Sixteen and the maps are still not working.
I open the Google Map widget and change it to interactive and click done but, as soon as I reopen it is back to static.
I’ve tried deleting the widget and recreating it as interactive from the start but I still have the same problem
Thanks for trying.
Is your site being developed on your local computer or on a live server in maintenance mode? If it’s in maintenance mode, can you please, create a temporary administrator account for us to login and take a look.
If it’s on a local machine then you could try checking for JS errors:
