Google Maps Widget stopped working with Api key

Google says This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.

Console lists 2 errors and a warning:

Any help for a non-programmer would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tom,

The error message you’re receiving is a common sign that you haven’t provided your billing details to Google yet. To clarify, Google no longer allows users without billing details to use the Google Maps API – this is basically the final step in the transition from no API required to required API key. Please refer to this Google help doc for instructions on how to update your payment information.

    Hi Alex,

No, all billing info is in place with Google.

The support rep with Google is suggesting that the widget is failing to include my API key in the Google Maps API JavaScript script tag. That is, the widget is creating this:

But is failing to include a ‘key=’ parameter.

    Thanks,
    Tom

That is, the widget is creating this:

    “”script type=’text/javascript’ src=’https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?language=en&ver=4.0.2′></script""

But is failing to include a 'key=' parameter.

    Hi Tboyett,

Sorry, I was under the impression you were using the SiteOrigin Google Maps widget. You’ll need to reach out to ThemeFusion about the issue you’re facing.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tboyett,

According to your markup, you’re using something called Fusion Map Shortcode. This shortcode isn’t related to Siteorigin Google Maps. If you’re using the SiteOrigin Google Maps widget on your website, can you please link me to the page you’re using it on?

Alex, I don’t know if this link is specific enough, but the affected maps are about half-way down this page.

    Thank you,

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tom,

I’ve taken another look at your page and I can’t seem to find any mention of the SiteOrigin Google Maps widget, only the Fusion Map. Are you sure you’re using the SiteOrigin Google Maps widget? If so, can you please clarify how you’re adding it to your page?

Alex, screen shots to follow…let me know what I’m missing.

Unfortunately, we’re currently unable to process attachments. Can you please upload the screenshot to a third party image hosting site like vgy.me or Imgur?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tboyett,

Thanks. Please note that while you’ve correctly set up the Siteorigin Google Maps in the settings, you’re not actually using that widget on your home page. The SiteOrigin Google Maps settings are only able to be applied to our widget so you’ll need to correctly set up the Fusion Map Shortcode directly to be able to use it or swap that shortcode out for the SiteOrigin Google Maps widget.

Thank you Alex. Is there any way you can give a brief hint as to how to remove the Fusion Map shortcode so I can exclusively use your widget?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tboyett,

Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with how your theme structures your home page so I’m not too sure where that shortcode is being added. I would reach out to ThemeFusion for advice on this – sorry mate, I wish I could be of more direct assistance.

No problem, thanks for the help.
