Hi Marc,
Google Maps now requires an API key to be used. To create an API key please navigate to either this page for a dynamic map or this page for a static map.
Once you’ve generated the API, simply add it to your Google Maps widget.
If adding an API key doesn’t help, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

To clarify, it might work on the single install but it could at break at any given moment.
Hello Alex,
API key already generated and added.
In the preview mode the map could be seen, once viewing the site the maps not visible.
Here it works (standard installation)
http://www.fechten.lanbada.de/transport-2/
Her it does not work (multisite)

Hi Marc,
Please check to see if the key is valid. Google is reporting that the key is either not present or invalid.
If you feel it is, would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout. Then click import / export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.
Hi Alex,
very quick response wow!!!
Here is the export file
Thx in dvance
Hi Marc,
There doesn’t seem to be a link in your post? Did you attach it to your reply? We currently do not support email attachments so you’ll need to provide a link to the widget itself.
Sorry Alex,
here ist he link:

Hi Marc,
I was able to use the exported layout without issue (reference). As such, this is likely a plugin conflict. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex,
you where right. It was the FormMaker Plugin 1.9.14. just updated the plugin to 1.9.15 and it works now.
Many thx !!!!!!!
Perfect service, love your theme an plugins !
