Google Maps Widget Not Displaying

Notice: This thread is over two years old; the information may be outdated. Please consider creating a new thread if you require free support. If you have an active SiteOrigin Premium license, you can email our premium support desk at [email protected].

I’ve created an API and enabled the necessary API’s for it to work and the map shows up in preview mode, but when it’s published it doesn’t render on the front end.

My console gives me this error: Uncaught Error: `selector` option must be specified when initializing tooltip on the window.document object!

I can see that the API is working, because it shows up in the dev tools.

I’ve done some research and some sources are saying it’s a theme issue related to Bootstrap. I’d really like to be able to use the Site Origin Google Maps widget, but I’m unsure of what to write in the Bootstrap code to make it work.

Here is the website: http://bruzekfu.wwwss38.a2hosted.com (bottom of the home page)

Any guidance on this issue would be awesome!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ashley,

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find references to the SiteOrigin Google Maps widget on your home page. Did you remove it?

Regardless, this sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
