Google Maps Widget Not Displaying

Notice: This thread is over two years old; the information may be outdated. Please consider creating a new thread if you require free support. If you have an active SiteOrigin Premium license, you can email our premium support desk at [email protected].

I have inserted a Siteorigin Google Maps Widget at the bottom of this page: digitalrend.com/about-new, but the map will not display. It is visible to me when I click on the “Preview” button in the widget edit screen. As far as I can tell, I have adjusted the settings properly.

I am using the free version of Make theme by Automattic. I am using WordPress version 4.8.2.

Can anyone help me?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Chris,

Google Maps now requires an API key to be used. To create an API key please navigate to either this page for a dynamic map or this page for a static map.

Once you’ve generated the API, simply add it to your Google Maps widget.

If adding an API key doesn’t help, can you please provide me with access to your website? It’s currently behind an under construction gate.
