Google maps widget map center dropdown problem

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hello.

I’ve used the widget in the past and it works great elsewhere. I’ve been trying out Oxygen builder and the widget works, custom markers and styling etc. But I can’t set the map center, there is no dropdown with the “powered by Google” text to select the address, map coordinates don’t work either.

Is it an API problem or just incompatibility between the widget and Oxygen? Is there a workaround?

Thanks.

    Hi Fracktator

    Thanks for reaching out.

I don’t think we’ve done any testing with Oxygen. Can you perhaps open your browser console when the issue happens and check for errors, they’ll be in red. If there are errors present, please, screenshot and upload to imgur.com or similar and send us the link.

    Hello

Firefox didn’t give any errors when I tried setting the center, Chrome said this: https://imgur.com/sCZHSM1

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything useful that I can see in the console.

Can you perhaps try testing the maps widget in a theme sidebar widget area to see if it’s working normally there?
