Google Maps Marker in wrong place

Hi,

first of all i hope you can understand my poor english.
I have read other similar topics, but I haven’t found solution.

I try to explain to you my problem:
Using Marker tool I need to set GPS coordintaes (because my points of intrest are on the beach) so i can’t set an address. From Google Maps (Earth mode) i’ve copied and pasted gps coordinates (like this 45.xxx198, 12.xxx568) but on the frontend page the markers are in the streets near my point of intrest. I’ve tried to retype one of these gps, but after the update this marker has disappeared.

There is a way to fix it? Because if the markers are not positioned correctly, my page is completely unnecessary.

Best regards and happy new year
Filippo

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Filippo,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? Also, would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

    Hi Alex,

I’m sorry for late reply but i do this in my free time.
Here you can find the page.
As you can see the Map center marker is in the right place on the beach.
Otherwise the one on the left isn’t on the beach but in a street.

Here you can find the export.

    Thanks
    Filippo

    Hi Filippo,

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Google returns 45.4828923, 12.5863883 when you set the marker to what you set it to. :( Maybe try a slightly different one to see if that helps?

I’m going to log a feature request that we geocode an address if we have the latitude and longitude. Sorry mate. :(
