Google Map widget not working with Evolve Theme

Hi I am new to WordPress, current site is Joomla and I have just installed WordPress on a test site with the Evolve Theme installed. I have added your Google Map widget to a page using Pagebuilder, I have added my API key and I can see the map if I click on preview in within the widget. But it is not appearing on the front end. Having read various threads I have disabled all non SiteOrigin widgets and cleared the cache with no success, so enabled them all again. I then tried it with different themes Twenty Fourteen, SG Window and SiteOrigin North and the map appears on front end. Tried the Evolve theme again, still visible in preview but nothing on the front end. Has anyone else had this problem? Many thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Andy,

I haven’t seen any issues personally, but I’m also unfamiliar with the theme you’re using. :(

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Andy,

I’m actually able to see both.

Can you try generating a new API key via this page (this API key will only work for dynamic maps)? Once you’ve generated a new API key, please add it to your Google Maps widget.

If that doesn’t help, could you please send me the contents of your console? Please refer to this guide on how to access your browser console.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Andy,

Would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout. Then click import / export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

Hi Alex, The maps are now appearing. I was checking the Evolve Theme Customisation and there is an option called Contact, opened this up and there was a field to add API Key. I did this and it appears to have resolved my problem.
But doesn’t explain why you could see and no other PC/Laptop/mobile in the house!
Many thanks for your help and bearing with me. Andy
