Google Analytics Event Tracking

Notice: This thread is over two years old; the information may be outdated. Please consider creating a new thread if you require free support. If you have an active SiteOrigin Premium license, you can email our premium support desk at [email protected].

Using siteorigin tabs on some of our pages and not able to get our Events to show up in Google Analytics. Tried using this from a previous thread I found on here that worked for that user:

onclick=”ga(“send”, “event”, “white paper”, “download”, “WP011 – Increase PCB Performance and Productivity with UV Light-Curable Conformal Coatings and Maskants”, “1”);

and also tried this format (which is what works for other events on our site):
onclick=”gtag(‘event’, ‘download’, {‘event_category’: ‘press release’, ‘event_label’: ‘P243 – New Radiometer Simplifies Validating and Monitoring UV-Curing Processes’});”

Please advise how to get these working within SiteOrigin pagebuilder areas.

Thank you,
Kim

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kim

    Thanks for posting.

    To remain viable, we’re, unfortunately, unable to assist with customizations beyond plugin settings or advanced troubleshooting within our free support scope. Our premium support scope allows us the budget to assist with those sorts of topics.

    Please, find a short section on adding tabs event tracking here: Page: Tabs. Hopefully, that helps.
