After I create a map and add locations using the SiteOrigin Google Map widget, the rollover infoboxes don’t automatically close. I’ve tried to find CSS to do this, but I’m not having any luck. I didn’t see a built in option, but maybe I’m missing something. It just creates an issue where there are multiple locations close to each other, especially on mobile. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
Hi Empyreanstone
Thanks for reaching out.
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
This is a private message.
For sure :) Sorry if the message was confusing, the private option is only there if you need it to be private.
Thanks for reporting this bug, I’ll log it with our developers shortly. Hopefully, they get a fix out in the next release of the Widgets Bundle. I, unfortunately, don’t have a hotfix to offer. Sorry, wish I did.
Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll be looking forward to that update. Take care!
For sure. For now, you could consider changing the hover to a click action. Thanks for your understanding.
Have there been any updates to this? I’m still having the same issue. Even if I change it to a click, people on mobile still have the infobox stay up. Thank you for your help.
Unfortunately, not yet: https://github.com/siteorigin/so-widgets-bundle/issues/212. Our Widgets Bundle lead developer is off for a few days. I’ve requested we look at this as soon as he’s back. Apologies for the delay.
