Global font colour change

Hi

I’ve seen the documentation but those options don’t appear for me to help change font colour.
Documentation states to go in Appearance->Customize->Color

The only options available in Customize are:
Site Identity
Menus
Widgets
Static Front Page.

I also tried to edit the style.css to change font colour.
But the site font remains grey. I would prefer to make this black as some members have said they find it hard to read.

I changed the following, Hope it was correct one to change

----------------------------------------------- */
/* Consistent fonts across all elements */
body,
button,
input,
select,
textarea {
  color: #333;

to

----------------------------------------------- */
/* Consistent fonts across all elements */
body,
button,
input,
select,
textarea {
  color: #23282d;

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi David

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Any edits made via Appearance > Editor will be lost during theme updates so it’s best not to work in that location.

    It doesn’t look like you’ve run your premium upgrade yet. Go to Appearance > Vantage Premium, click Already Paid? top right and enter your order number in the field provided:

    Private Snippet

    Follow the prompts to upgrade. Appearance > Customize > Theme Design will then be available to you.
