Futura Fony

I would like to be able to use Futura STD font on my website. I have just upgraded to Vantage Premium I could use this font but find that there is just about every other font available except the one I want. How can I get futura STD font?

    Hi Helene

    Futura STD isn’t a Google font, the list you’re seeing in the Customizer is making use of Google’s free web fonts. To use a non-Google web font you’d need to have the necessary files ready, upload them to a place on your server, somewhere outside of the theme folder and then use Appearance > Custom CSS to import those font files and target the body tag with that font family.     Hi Andrew, thanks for the info. I’m really quite new to all this! I know how to get to the WP folders on my server but don’t know where to put the font files then – could you advise me (I need fairly basic instructions here). After that I have never used code so I will have to have a try and see if I can follow your instructions. Thank you.

    No problem. Do you have this font on your local computer? Are the webfont files ready? That’ll be the first place to start.
