Functions.php error when trying to edit

Hi,

I’m using the Child Theme Configurator plugin and when I click Functions.php, this error appears:
PHP Warning: htmlspecialchars() [function.htmlspecialchars]: Invalid multibyte sequence in argument

Any idea what’s causing this?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Reesa

Not sure what happened there. Here is a vanilla child theme you can start with:

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/vantage-child-vanilla.zip

You can then create your own functions.php file and add it to the child theme folder.
