Hello!
I’ve been trying to figure out this problem for quite a few hours now. Having lost all hope, it’s time to ask the smarter people.
Before everything else, here’s the site: www.birchsap.ee
I’m using WordPress’ Twenty Seventeen theme.
As is apparent, the site is almost ready, everything is working fine and dandy. However, two images – the glasses filled with birch sap, and the ice chunks – are horribly low quality. The original images are great and sharp (2048px x 726px), but after putting them up on SiteOrigin’s Image widget and updating the site, it displays them in a 768px x 272px version. Note that when previewing changes (before updating the site) it looks completely fine. It’s only after updating the site that the images hop into a different resolution.
Of course, these images are displayed in a row that’s on Full Width Stretch mode – as is needed, because I want them to appear from one end of the screen to the other. What I think may be the problem, is that the images load themselves in a resolution that’s fitting for either Full Width or Standard mode. I would be very pleased if, through the help of this forum, we get these images to their original, crispy resolution.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Ingvar,
I just had a quick look at your website and it looks like you’re no longer displaying these images on your website. If you would like to, let me know and I’ll take a look at the image to see if I can spot the issue. Sorry for the delay in my response.
