Hi,
I’m building a page in which I need 4 rows (full width), with a black background for rows 2 and 4. I need the black background to be full-width to avoid the “black box” effect, so I set the row layout to full-width background with the color black, but it doesn’t work… I have read a thread where someone had the same issue and it was recommended to change the SiteOrigin Page Builder settings so that in the layout tab, the full-width field show .content-wrapper I tried and it still doesn’t work…could you please help?
Thank you!
Brigitte

Hi Brigitte,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your setup? This will allow me to provide the right selector for your theme, that is if this required. Also, to confirm, are you setting row 2 and 4 to full width? You can do this by opening the row by clicking the wrench icon above the row and heading over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and set the Row Layout to Full Width.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your feedback. I have indeed set the rows to full width so I’m not sure why it’s not working.. I just created a “Public User” so you can take a look at the page since at this stage even though it is published, it doesn’t show up on the website because it doesn’t look too good.. Private Snippet
I would also like to know how I can select my font type (Trebuchet) and size when building a page using SiteOrigin page builder..?
Best regards,
Brigitte
Hi Brigitte,
All of your replies are public so do not post private information.
The provided account doesn’t actually have access to WP Admin > Pages. I can’t seem to find Approche co-design V2. Can you please link me to that page directly? Sorry about this.
Regarding your other question, there’s no way to directly select/define a global font via Siteorigin Page Builder. I would recommend applying your font using CSS>
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply. I know the info is public, this is why I gave the public user a restricted access. Now that you have changed the password I have changed your access rights to editor so you should be able to see the page, let me know if it is not the case.
Ok for the font and size, I will look into it. I’m not tech-savvy but I’m sure I can find info on the Web to figure out how to do it using CSS.
Regards,
Brigitte
Hi Brigitte,
Thanks. Oddly, when a full width row layout is selected everything is correct bar the JavaScript – which is never run. Hm. I see your theme has added an additional row layout option. Hm. Can you please temporarily change the theme to see if that allows for the row layouts to work? I ask as how the additional theme specific row layout was added could be incorrect and it could be causing issues with the other row layouts.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for looking into it. Unfortunately I don’t think I can, or at least want, to change the theme even temporarily. I’m starting my business and I’m generating as much traffic as I can on my website and I’m afraid it would screw it up.. I’m not tech-savvy so if it happened then I wouldn’t be able to fix it… Do you have any other suggestion as to how this can be fixed?
Thanks,
Brigitte
Hi Brigitte,
Unfortunately, at this stage, this appears to be a theme issue. We need to verify if this is the case before we can work towards finding a solution (if that’s something we’re able to do). I would recommend reaching out to the theme developers about this issue.
Alternatively, I would recommend creating a staging site to allow you to run these tests without it affecting your main website.
Hi Alex,
Ok I will try via a staging environment so you can identify if it really is a theme issue. I won’t have time to do it right away since I’m about to go on leave for about 10 days but please leave my ticket open, I will make the test in a couple of weeks and I will keep you posted.
Best regards,
Brigitte
