Front Page layout; Sydney theme

9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Hello!

Need some help – though the tutorial video was super informative, I’m still foggy on some of the layout options.

I am using the Sydney theme.

I would like to display four columns in the Our Services feature on the front page of my site. Is there a way to do this or three the max no matter what?

Also – I am playing around with the project/portfolio widget but can’t get to display any text on the front end?

How do I do this? It doesn’t make sense to just have an item titled but not be able to display any description or a way to link it to anything…

Please help – greatly appreciated.

website is www.misource.ca

Thanks in advance,

-Janice

    Hi Janice

Thanks for reaching out. Syndey look like they have a video on creating/managing the Services section, you can find it here: http://athemes.com/documentation/sydney/. It’s titled: c. Creating services/employees etc.

The Portfolio widget you mentioned above isn’t ours, I think that’s part of the Sydney Toolbox plugin. If you have the Toolbox plugin installed I think you’ll be able to insert the Portfolio widget within Page Builder from the Add Widget button.

We can certainly help out with general Page Builder questions, the specific questions you’ve asked above are for Sydney so it could also be worth following up with aThemes support if any other theme specifics aren’t clear.
