Hi,
I’m trying to install french translation for Vantage Theme.
I dropped fr._PO.mo et fr.FR.po on my database
I cannot find the wplang section on config.php to change the language.
Can you help me?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Julien

    Thanks for reaching out.

Your translated files should ideally be stored in a child theme. That’s safest place to keep them. Here is a child theme you can use:

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/vantage-child-translation-ready-02.zip

It can be installed from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme. Your files can go in the Languages folder.

It’s normal for Customizer and menu location settings to reset when activating a child theme – unfortunately.

Your site is already running in French, you shouldn’t need to set wp lang manually.

Let us know how that goes.

    Hi, I Work Here

It looks like you’re still using the parent Vantage theme. Where are your translation files currently stored?
