Formatting Issue

I need some help with a formatting issues with my Vantage theme.

If you go to:

http://www.ritdllc.com

On the front page “Home” I would like to center the text under my icon button at the bottom. I need the space between the text and buttons to be smaller or less. I would also like the bottom border smaller. showing more of the picture but I don’t want it to scroll. I want it to be formatted where I don’t have to scroll or very little on the front page.

Please assist.

Thanks,

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi sschmitt

    Sorry, I’m not with you here. When you say:

    I would like to center the text under my icon button at the bottom

    Which icon are you talking about? At the top, the header, I see your logo and a social widget in the header widget area.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks.

    To bring the text under the icons up slightly, insert the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Home */

    .home .textwidget p {
    line-height: normal;
    margin-top: -10px;
    }

    Adjust as required.

    Looks like you’ve already made the overall container padding smaller. Another option to fit more content above the fold on this page might be to change the slider dimensions under Meta Slider, you could decrease the height of the slider.

    Is there a way to make the images centered. It looks like the cell that the images are in are “Left” justified and I can’t get them to center up. I am trying to get the text and image centered. I can’t seem to get the text to sit under the image centered. Can you tell me what code I can use to make the image and text centered?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Can you perhaps let us know what browser and version you’re viewing this. It all looks centred in OS X Chrome.
