Font Style/color options not visible in Page Builder

I found another thread regarding this issue, but it was not solved and did not have the option to reply…

There post read, “Since the last update of my salient wordpress theme, the font size and the font color drop down buttons in page builder are no longer working. when clicked the dropdown arrow points up or down with no menu appearing. In other words, I can no longer edit the text size nor change its color in page builder. Can anyone help out with this. I have the latest version and have cleared my browser cache”

I too am experiencing the same issue. Only I think I know what is happening — the text style dropdown and font color dropdowns aren’t “missing,” they’re actually BEHIND the site origin editor dialog box. I can’t get to them to be 100% sure, but this exact issue arose while working on another client’s website that utilized a different page builder plugin. Only I was able to move that other plugin’s dialog box to see the “missing” dropdowns behind it… I cannot move or resize Site Origin’s text editor dialog box, even with resizing windows, etc.

Any ideas?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kberger,

Are you using the latest version of SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (latest is 1.10.1)? If not, please trying updating it and clearing your browser cache to see if that helps. I bring this issue up as we’ve resolved this issue mentioned in a plugin update so if it’s still happening for you and you’re using the latest update this issue is being caused by something else.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
