I know that SiteOrigin Page Builder switched to flexbox a few versions ago. Is this safe and supported? I ask for various reasons, one being that I would love to use flexbox myself without worrying.

Flexbox is very well supported these days so it’s very safe to use these days. For a list of browsers that support flexbox, please refer to this page.
