Hi,
I have just installed the widgets bundle along with the Vantage Premium theme on a clean install of WordPress 3.9.2. I have added a features widget to my first page using the page builder tool and left all the settings to their defaults other than:
Icon: One of the Iconmoon icons
Color: Red
When the page is now viewed the icon is not centred in the middle of the coloured circle but appears to have shifted slightly to the right. The larger you make the icon the more apparent this becomes. Is there any way to recenter the icon?
Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve
Thanks for running Vantage.
Sorry, I’m missing which one of the Features widgets is doing this. Do you perhaps just want to setup a test page for me with it setup on large and send through the link?
Hi Andrew,
The icon on the page in the link is the WiFi and Internet one. Not sure where you are based but judging by the time you posted the link you are either west coast USA or Australasia. I had been playing with the icons after posting the link and had changed the icon in question. From my experimentation it seems that the issue is dependent on the icon that you choose and if you look at the page now I have set it to one that really highlights the problem. It is also apparent on the Consultancy services icon though this one appears to be shifted to the left.
Great theme though and very easy to use (particularly with the page builder!)
Thanks
Steve
I see now, thanks for the extra info (Bali for a little bit, otherwise we’re based in Cape Town).
I’ve logged a ticket for Greg to take a look at. I unfortunately don’t have a hotfix. The short term solution would unfortunately be to try FontAwesome or revert back to the Circle Icon widget. The next time you seen an update pending for the Widget Bundle plugin the issue should be resolved.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we appreciate the feedback.
Thanks for the update and I hope you enjoy Bali – I was there about 15 years ago and did a fantastic cookery course for 5 days. I will keep an eye out for the update and try your other suggestions in the meantime.
Thanks
Steve
Thanks for your understanding, I’m sure we’ll have this fixed up soon. All the best.
