features widget crashing after site migration

I am migratin from my development server to a production server. Everything works perfectly but I have problem with features widget.
I have a grid of 3 features (all 3 are in 1 row). This works on development server but after migrating to production those features each goes into 1 row. Only difference is PHP version od development server is 5.6 but on production it is 7.2.

Widget bundle version: Version 1.13.0
SiteOrigin PageBuilder: Version 2.8.2

Thanks for your help.

Regards

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kristjan,

Try saving the page with the SiteOrigin Features on to see if that helps. If it doesn’t, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

I fixed the problem using older version of PHP (5.6 instead of php 7).

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kristjan,

Okay cool. Please note that there are no known issues with any of our plugins and PHP 7.2 so I’m really not too sure why you ran into any issues. If you ever decide to attempt an update again, please also try running a plugin conflict test as it’s quite possible (based on lack of reports and general testing on our part) that another plugin is causing this issue.

For reference, here’s our suggested plugin conflict test:

Try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Thanks for your reply. I tried disabling everything but SiteOrigin page builder and SiteOrigin widgets.
I actually ran plugin compatibilty tester which said that your widget plugin had some problems with php 7.2 that's why I tried using php 5.6
I sucesfully created a website using your plugin on php 7.2 and everything worked fine but on this website as soon as I migrated from development server to a production plugins crashed (dev. server was running 5.6).
I probably wont be updating to 7.2 anytime soon on this particular webiste but if you want I can try to recreate this bug and give you access to inspect what can be done

    Hi Kristjan,

If you could that would be great – we really appreciate it.

The flagged parts are false positives and occur due to how PHP 7 compatibility plugins check code. As a result of this, they’re safe to ignore. We’ve checked over the code a dozen or so times and while we understand why it may be flagged (if you read the code on a line by line basis), it’s not a compatibility issue.

yeah I am aware of that. It was some string stuff being deprecated in newest version of PHP. I have quite some other work today and in coming days, but when I find some time I'll try to reproduce the bug and document exact steps. Your plugins are really great and since I am a free user atleast I can help you with finding bugs.
