Featured Images Disappeared

I have a blog, using the Unwind theme, with nearly 200 posts all using the grid format and everyone with its own featured image. The problem I have is that after the first one hundred posts, most of the remaining posts no longer show their featured images in the grid even though they are still present when the posts are opened. Someone’s help would be greatly appreciated please

    Thanks. Please, try editing this post as an example https://onlywinners.net/cyber-seo/. Is there a featured image added if you check the Featured Image setting in the right column?

    WOW! The featured image has been deleted. I spent ages making sure that every post had a featured image that was properly formatted for size etc

    I have just checked and it seems that many of my posts have had the featured images removed and definitely not by me.

    Hi Joe

    Thanks for the feedback. I’m, unfortunately, not sure what would have caused featured images to be removed.

    For the post in question, the one I linked to, you could try setting the Post Type to Image. All the Image post type does is it looks for the first image in the post content and then uses that in the same position as the featured image.

    Thanks very much for your help. I have now replaced every featured image (it took hours) and am now hoping that they give no more problems.
