Featured Image – Vantage Theme

How can I stop the Featured Image from being shown on top of blog post. I like that it shows up in blog feed but then when I pull up the actual post the featured image is up top and usually blown out.

Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Greg

    You can de-activate it at Appearance > Theme Settings > Blog: Featured Image.

    Hope that helps.

    Will that take it out of my blog feed as well though? I want it to show up there just not in blog itself.

    Hi, I Work Here

    You could perhaps then hide the featured image on the single post page with Custom CSS:

    .single .entry-thumbnail { display: none; }

    I tested with Feedly now and there is still an image associated with each post when I disable featured images on single posts but I’m not sure if Feedly is just pulling an image from the post body as I do have images added there. So the CSS fix above is worth a try.

    Perhaps test both and let me know how it goes.
