Hi
I am using the vantage theme. :)
Is it possible to show the featured image in the post carousel but not show on the post loop and actual post?
I have searched but no luck in finding anything on this scenario…
Many thanks
Simos
Hi Simo,
You can do this by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsBlog and untick the Featured Image setting.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for the feedback but I already have that unticked.
if it helps
1) http://chatnsurf.co.uk/recruitment has the carousel which displays the image which is good.
2) http://chatnsurf.co.uk/vacancies is the post loop which I would prefer not to show the image in
3) http://chatnsurf.co.uk/resource-manager is an example post which does not show the image which is great.
I am being careful as other blog categories e.g. news, that are displayed in other pages, show the image which is something I want.
I’m not sure if in reality I am being too nick picky so causing confusing with the code and really should just let the image be shown in above (2)
As ever you are a star and many thanks
Simos

Simos
Hi Simo,
Ah. I didn’t realize you wanted to prevent 2. I thought you only wanted to stop 3.
Please add the following CSS to WP AdminAppearanceCustom CSS:
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
Hi Alex,
As ever you succeed in achieving all my expectations.. :):)
Many thanks
