Featured Image doesn’t work

Hello,
I have a very weird problem. When I create page and when I add a featured image, the image actually doesn’t show at all and there are no changes made on the web page. If i use the meta slide it works fine, but i don’t want to add a slide show. I would like to add an animated gif as a featured image that takes the full screen but do not understand why the featured image option doesn’t work.

    Hi designggl

    Sorry to hear about the problem.

    Please head to Appearance > Theme Settings > Blog and ensure Featured Image is checked there. If it perhaps try with a JPG and see if the image you’re testing might be causing a problem.

    If you have no luck with the above, please send through a link so we can take a look.

      Thanks for the reply.

      I have checked the Theme Setting and the Featured Image for the Blog is checked. Actually the Featured Image for Posts works fine, however what doesn’t appear to work is the Featured Image option for the Pages.

      Basically what I wanted to do is instead of having Meta Slide , as on the Home Page , to add a Featured Image as animated gif instead. I thought maybe it doesn’t support gifs, so I tried adding JPG, PNG, but still nothing.

      PS: If I use the SiteOrigine Image I can add gif and it works, but I can not make it full screen.

    Thanks for the extra info. Unfortunately, at this stage, there is no featured image support for pages in Vantage. We do have it down as a suggestion, but as of the moment it hasn’t yet been implemented. Sorry I don’t have more there.
