I have created a blog with posts, and I have set the Feature Image in my post.
I have resized the thumbnail and feature image using some of the tools like Regenerate all thumbnails.
However, the featured image look stretched and distorted. how could i fix it?

Thanks,
kristal

    Hi Kristal

    Vantage does currently push the featured image to 100% width. It’s a bit of extra work but you could turn off the featured image on the single blog post page, under Appearance > Theme Settings > Blog. That would remove the first image here: http://www.buyteria.com/2014/03/26/blog%E5%8A%9F%E8%83%BD%E8%A9%A6%E9%A9%97%E4%B8%AD/

    I’ve had the same problem. I don’t understand why Vantage would override images settings WE choose. It becomes disastrous when you use a post widget. We shouldn’t have to turn off featured images on a post page.

    Hi Marie

    Please open a new thread in the case of queries you may have, one thread per question if possible. Alternatively you can contact support on [email protected].

    You can use the following under Appearance > Custom CSS to remove the 100% width property of Featured Images:

    /* Remove Featured Image 100% width property */
    article.post .entry-header .entry-thumbnail img, article.page .entry-header .entry-thumbnail img {
    width: auto !important;
    }
