“Featured Image” behaviour

Hi,

Within a post, I can add a “Featured Image”. This adds a some thumbnail to the excerpt. It also adds a large image to the top, before the post title, within the post itself, which I would like to change the position of and reduce the size.
Where can I make these changes?
Specifically I would like to sit the image to the left of the opening post sentence, if you understand me!

    Hi Andrew/Colin –
Could either of you tell me how you solved this behaviour issue. I’m interested in making my feature images on posts appear at beginning of first paragraph with text wrapped to the left or right. Thanks.

      Hi John

I can’t think of an easy way to handle that. What I’d recommend here is the slightly more manual approach of turning off single post featured images at Appearance > Theme Settings > Blog and then manually inserting your featured image into the post content.

For further assistance on this please open a new forum thread and I’ll jump in there.
