Hi Flemming
How are you adding your favicon? Perhaps give this great plugin a try:

Alternatively please send me a link so I check the issue.
The text you are referring to informs users what tags can be used in the blog comment form. To remove that notification add the following to Appearance > Custom CSS:
Hi Andrew
Thanks for your reply, … I do use plugin all-in-one-favicon, and its working without any problem,
the only problem is in IE in the first page ( home ) … all the other pages has no problem to show the favicon,
I have try to use 16×16, 32×32, and right now I´m using the animated version.
No problem in others browsers, Chrome …etc
My website is : http://www.kansasshop.dk
Thanks for the CSS, its working without problem … super support.
By the way, can you give me a good tip ! : I want to make a customize menu in a widget area,
a menu in small size to other pages in my site, I have try to use the Siteorigin customize menu widget.
But the not possible to change the style to a row … and layout does not look so great !
Is the others menu widgets there work in Vantage theme ?
For sure.
The plugin author seems to think this issue is just caching related:

Perhaps check on another machine to confirm.
I’m not sure there is much we can do from our side. This is perhaps a ticket that needs to be opened with All in one Favicon. You could also try a PNG favicon and see if there is any change.
Right now there is only menu styling for the custom menu widget when inserted into the header sidebar area. So that’s one option. If you want a horizontal footer menu you can insert a custom menu widget into the footer and try adding this custom css:
Thanks Andrew, yes – I do think its maybe can be a caching issue.
Thanks for the CSS Footer menu ( perfect support )
No problem!
