Fatal Error: Widgets Bundle

Hi guys, been having a lot of problems with the widgets bundle recently. I’m currently using version 1.11.2 but everytime I try to activate it I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_add_shortcode_param() in /homepages/14/d564522419/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/compat/visual-composer/visual-composer.php on line 31

The only way I can get access back to my site is by renaming the folder of the plugin. I’m also using WPBakery Visual Composer Version 4.2.3, but not sure if the plugin is trying to use that or its own install from its own folder.

Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks!

    Hi Lenry,

    This error message is due to using a very old version of Visual Composer. Version 4.2.3 was released on 12.06.2014. The latest version is 5.4.5. I suspect the other issues you’re experiencing is due to how old Visual Composer is so I would definitely recommend updating Visual Composer.
