Hi Site Origin Team,

I’m having a Fatal Error with Site Origin Page Builder Plugin. My web host( IPAge) said that the error is with the plugin’s script.

All the issues have started after I installed a plugin “”SSL Insecure Content”, which cause my website to go in internal error. So I disistaled “SSL INSICURE CONTENT” but still the my website was in error.

So I contacted Ipage who detected that now the problem was caused by Site Origin Puglin, and gave this message:

‘undefined function wp_doing_ajax() in /hermes/bosnaweb15a/b80/ipg.facciocoseorg/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/siteorigin-panels.php on line 43’

So now I have to deactivate page builder and the website works ok, but all the layout of the website is off, because there is not Site Origin plug in!

Please help! How can I fix it?

Thanks,
Monika

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Monika,

SiteOrigin Page Builder requires at least WordPress 4.7. The issue you’re facing is as a result of using an older version of WordPress that doesn’t include the wp_doing_ajax function. We highly recommend using the latest version of WordPress (5.1), but if for whatever reason you don’t wish to update WordPress, you can continue to use SiteOrigin Page Builder by rolling back to SiteOrigin Page Builder 2.10.1.

To do this, please open your website and navigate to WP AdminPluginsinstalled Plugins and Deactivate Page Builder by Siteorigin and then delete Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Click Add NewUpload Plugin and upload 2.10.1.

    Hi Alex,

You are a super star! I’ve done as you said and it’s working.
I’m so relieved, Thanks a lot for you help.

So do you think that SSL Insicure Content was not responsible for the problem? And it was just a wordpress version issue?
I just don’t understand why the problem with Site Origin started when I used SSL Insicure Content Fixer plugin.

Would you recommend me to try to install again SSL Insicure Content plugin or not using any more, just in case creates problem with Site Origin?

    Thanks,
    Monika

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Monika,

No, I don’t think the SSL Insecure Content Fixer is related. The provided error message is known and it relates to using pre-WordPress 4.7.

I see no issue with using that plugin. We’re not aware of any compatibility issues associated with it.
