After upgrading the Page Builder plugin, my website is no longer available! See text below. Any suggestions?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jervis

It looks like you’re using a legacy widgets plugin for widgets that are actually already in Page Builder. If you have FTP access, then log in and navigate to wp-content/plugins/ and delete the siteorigin-panels-legacy-widgets folder. The ones that are already in Page Builder will take over.

Just a note though, we do suggest you try use widgets from our Widgets Bundle plugin if possible.

Thanks for quick response, I removed the siteorigin-panels-legacy-widgets folder, problem solved. Hurray!
Guess I never had a clear picture of the difference between legacy-widgets and the features of (the new?) Page Builder.
Your last note is not clear to me, should I switch from Page Builder to Widgets Bundle?

    Hi Jervis,

The SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is a plugin that includes all of our newer widgets. We highly recommend installing and using the widgets included with that plugin instead of the legacy widgets you’re currently using. Does that make sense?

To clarify, there isn’t a replacement page builder. We’re simply phasing out the legacy widgets.

OK, clear, thanks. Case closed :-)
