Fail on import/export layouts via json at complex layouts

Hello, everyone,

we have recognized a problem at one of our customers that layouts cannot be imported using the import/export function. The file will be uploaded, but when inserting, nothing will arrive in the pagebuilder.

We were able to trace the problem back so far that it is due to the respective JSON file. With a very basic structure (two columns each with a text editor) it works without problems. With a more complex structure it fails then.

I might have to mention that there are also own widgets built in, so not only core or siteorigin standards.

The request is not terribly urgent, since we can still transfer at least line by line via the context menu after clicking the right mouse button. Nevertheless, we would be happy about any feedback. Especially in the sidebars this feature is absolutely important for us.

Already tested: All plugins disabled, theme set to default. All updates installed. SiteOrigin version tested backwards until 2.10.0.

Many thanks and best regards,
Christian

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Christian

Thanks for reaching out. I seem to be able to import the layout, albeit without the custom widgets https://demo.siteorigin.com/corp/json-test/.

Can you perhaps check what the server and WordPress PHP memory limits are set to? https://wordpress.org/plugins/server-ip-memory-usage/ is a quick way to do that.
