FacetWP’s ajax not working.

I have noticed that there are conflicts between FacetWP and Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugins, especially with FacetWP’s ajax which are found on this page http://brochuretools.pboworkspace.info/document/. Would you please let me the what the issues are? Thanks for your time.

    Hi Tim,

    Hm. That’s odd. So I don’t have much experience with this plugin personally but following child theme should resolve the issue you’re having. LINK REMOVED Please navigate to WP Admin > Appearance > Themes and then click Add New > Upload Theme and upload the attached theme. Obviously, this child theme is meant to fix a similar issue with Ultimate WP Query Search Filter but the same fix should work for FacetWP.

    Hi Alex,

    Yeah, that is odd. I have tried the child theme with no success. When I type “FWP.settings.pager” into the browser console after each facet selection, it appears to be loading the correct # of results.

    So, the query that FacetWP is using is correct, but for some reason the template isn’t updating.

    That page is not created by Page Builder by SiteOrigin. However, I believe Page Builder by SiteOrigin is inferring with FacetWP’s ajax as the page is not updating. I’m not sure where to look next. Maybe, could somehow remove Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin from that page?

    Hi Tim,

    Hm. I think the best way to test it would be to just disable SiteOrigin Page Builder for a couple of seconds and see what happens. If that doesn’t help, reenable it, switch to a default WordPress theme and see how if it works.

    Did that and found that it works when SiteOrign Page Builder is disabled.

    Hi Tim,

    It is? I didn’t see any reference in the markup so I wasn’t sure if it was. Hm. Okay, I just need one final thing before I log this. Can you please run a full plugin conflict test?

    Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins (leave FacetWP enabled) and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hey Alex,

    Have deactivated all plugins, but Advanced Custom Fields PRO, FacetWP, and Toolset Types as they are need for that page to function and that page works. When SiteOrign Page Builder is activated that page then stop works.
