External link doesn’t work

The link doesn’t transfer to my website and the Hostgator rep says that the problem is with the Page Builder plug-in. Please help to make it work since I don’t want to start all over again and Page Builder is the basis for my whole website. Thanks

    First of all I apologize for the delayed response

    What do you mean by External link doesn’t work? I have checked you website and could see what you are explaining there :(

    On laneysvoice.com under My Details at the bottom I mention Rebel and the
    Ruler which is the title of the audiobook on amazon.com. I went into Page
    Builder and did the link and put in the amazon address and it underlined the title but it didn't carry over to the website. It's like I never did it. When I called Hostgator they said it was the Page Builder feature that was keeping it from working. Since I used Page Builder for most of the website, I really need to have this working. Hope you can help.

    Hi Laney

    Page builder should accept html code in the text widget so we should be seeing the link.
    I have just tried adding a site link using both the text widget, like you, and the visual editor and both appear as normal on my site.
    Can you please supply the text you entered into the text widget for that column?

    Hi Laney

    Try installing and inserting the Visual Editor widget: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/ which will give you an editor to work with in Page Builder.

    Let me know if that irons out that issue

    Hi Laney

    Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

    Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

    Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi Laney

    I have just checked your site and noticed you are using a Text widget to put in your content. Please use the Visual Editor Widget available. This will provide option to edit your content how you desire. To add it to you page, click on ADD WIDGET then search for Visual Editor.

    Addo, thanks for your previous help. I have one more issue–can't find out how to put in keywords to make a search more productive. Right now I would have to put in web name just to have it come up.

    This is Know issues.. We have to use the TEXT EDIT of Both the ” Text widget” or “Visual Editor widget” whenever some html code fails to run.. Both these provide two tabs. “Visual” & “Text” .. Cheers Enjoy..
