Firstly thank you for your great template, I’ve enjoyed using it on the site in question and just upgraded to premium for this site too.
For this site my goal is to take an image and have it fill the screen. I’ve added multiple links to the image using a plugin called Image Mapper. This doesn’t appear to function with the slide plugin, so I can’t easily make it stretch across the screen. Could you tell me how to make the image fill the screen please? There’s a temporary image in place on the website.
Thanks for your help. I’m a very much a learner at this, so I would appreciate detailed instructions.
Hi waithetuitioncamden
Thanks for your support.
It’s only possible for content to be completely full width if placed above the regular content container. In Vantage as it stands it’s only Meta Slider that’s placed there. If you have a shortcode for the plugin you’re using you could replace Meta Slider. Is that something you’d like to do? Basically swap out Meta Slider for this plugin?
Thanks for your reply Andrew.
Yes, I think that sounds like the right thing to do. The plugin just adds the links into the image, you then place it into the page using the normal add media menu which has an add image map option added, so I’m not sure what needs to be fine in light of that?
In that case it would be tough to replace Meta Slider with this option. What we do is remove Meta Slider and use do_shortcode: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode to load a shortcode into the same space as Meta Slider usually is. This plugin sounds like it needs operate from within the regular content area. I’m afraid in the case of Vantage you might need to look at using it within the constrained content area.
