Errors with Rows as Columns

We are experiencing the same issue as a previous user posted with alignment after installing the update. Switching to legacy always did not resolve the issue. Take a look at http://gnutext.com/about-us/.

Earlier post
Hello, with the 2.5x versions of Pagebuilder, I have been experiencing a glitch in which the columns of a given row sit down below one another rather than side by side. This glitch is resolved when rolling back to 2.4x. The glitch was persistent even after disabling all other site plugins.

2.5x columns sit as:

x
x
x

2.4x Columns sit as:

Everything works fine with the 2.4x version. I look forward to future updates of your plugin once the glitch is resolved.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Wendy,

This issue has been resolved for the vast majority of websites but sadly certain websites have certain plugins that may interfere with the new setup. Based on your markup, specifically the lack of SiteOrigin Page Builder assets, I suspect this issue stems from you filtering out important assets. Specifically, front-flex.css and/or front-legacy.css which is required for columns to work in 2.5. Are you using any plugins to filter assets? If so, can you please update SiteOrigin Page Builder and then prevent them from being filtered. If that doesn’t help, can you please leave 2.5 so I can inspect the resulting markup?

Please note that due to how infrequent this plugin conflict is, we’ll need to view the issue itself to work out what’s causing the conflict.

    Hello Alex,

I’ve left the 2.5 installed so that you can view the issue. I don’t see any filters preventing front-flex.css or front-legacy.css from loading.

Thanks so much for your time.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Wendy,

There’s definitely something preventing front-*.css from outputting.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Alex,
There isn’t a plugin conflict. I deactivated all plugins and the alignment is unchanged. The site origin css appears to be conflicting with the theme.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi Wendy,

To confirm, does this issue occur if you temporarily change theme? If so, what theme are you currently using? Is there an update available? If so – try updating.
