Error with icons

All the icons related to the theme do not show up. These include icons in the circle icon and even the social media icons.

I took a look at similar issues on other posts but could not fix it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tatparya

These seem to be working now on my side. Has the situation perhaps changed on your side?

    Thanks

Hey Andrew, no it is still the same. I am viewing this page in Firefox and the icons appear as boxes with some code in them and at times even in chrome, they appear as empty boxes. At times chrome shows the right icons but then the next moment they are broken. I dont know what to do about it. Have been trying for a while now.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the update. The problem is that font icons aren’t able to load across domains in Firefox and IE. You’re loading the Font Awesome library from:

    http://www.pufp.org/wp-content/themes/vantage/fontawesome/css/font-awesome.css?ver=3.2.1

If you set your site up, under Settings > General, to use the same domain as your site is using, this problem will be resolved.

Could you please elaborate a little for what you mean by set your site up?

    Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

Apologies for that typo. Check the url I provided vs the url of your website. They are different. It’s this difference, between the location of your WordPress installation and your front end url that’s causing this problem. This isn’t the standard way to setup WordPress. I believe to do this you’d need to use domain mapping. Ideally you’d chat to the person that set this site up. Usually, your WordPress installation is hosted at the same domain that your site is rendered at.
