Error on SiteOrigin update

After updating the SiteOrigin PageBuilder plug in, my website does not work and I get the message Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_doing_ajax() in /home1/cbmadmin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/siteorigin-panels.php on line 43
The only way to see my website is to delete the plug in altogether. Reinstalling only leads to the same error message.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi CBM

    Thanks for reaching out.

Do you know which version of WordPress is being used?

    Andrew,

the error occurred on WordPress 4.6.14 using the Generate Press Child theme.   In checking this I noticed that an update was available and I have now updated to WordPress 5.1.1 and am very happy to report that my site is visible and PageBuilder appears to be working fine.

The update threw up another error on widget countdown but I have deleted that and no errors are currently showing.

    Thanks for your prompt response.

    Hi, I Work Here

Super, glad to hear you’ve made progress. The error would be removed above
WP 4.7 when the function in question was introduced.

    All the best :)
