Error in drop-down menu

When page title is added to drop-down menu the page content appears not page title.
When I create a page in SiteOrigin Page builder and add that page to a drop down menu the page content appears rather that the page title. I have WordPress 5.3.2, have plugin classic editor installed and using OceanWP theme. I have deactivated all plugins except those recommended by SiteOrigin but without success.
Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi MAJ

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? Please, also let us know where to check and which item we should be inspecting. Thanks.

    Hi Andrew,
This is my practice website where I try out new things in WordPress.
    http://mercenarycoders.com/wordpress/

    I have created 2 test pages –

    * 'Test' which is the first page on the news drop-down menu. On clicking on NEWS you can see 'Test' AND it's content.
    * 'Test2' last link on main menu works fine
    * Hope this helps you understand problem.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the links and feedback,

Is this a feature of the theme or a plugin? This isn’t core WordPress menu behavior. If you go to Appearance > Menus and select the main menu, I’m assuming all looks normal there and the Test page is a regular menu item? If so, to isolate the problem, try temporarily deactivating all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin, does the menu remain the same? If so, temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen and re-assign the main menu to that theme’s main menu location, does the same issue persist. These two quick tests will let you isolate how the page contents are being included in the menu.

    Hi Andrew,
    Thank you for prompt response.
I did as you suggested and the issue is with Theme OceanWp which I like and am reluctant to abandon. Maybe SiteOrigin could bring problem to the attention of the publishers of OceanWP!
I do have a work around however.
I create a page with content in the Classic editor (plugin installed), and publish page. I then select Page Builder and copy the editor’s existing content to Page Builder and update. I can then proceed to add content, rows etc using page builder and page displays correctly on the menu.
If you return to my site URL above and select the ‘News’ drop down menu you can see the test page created as outlined in last paragraph displays correctly. Third item on menu is created using Page Builder only and displays page content.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the update and feedback.

Not to throw the ball back in your court but this definitely is an issue you could raise with the authors. On their home page SiteOrigin is listed as a supported plugin under the EVEN BETTER WITH PAGE BUILDERS heading. Because the menu architecture lies within the theme, it’s very unlikely a solution would be possible from our end.

If there is anything SiteOrigin specific, please, let us know, happy to log issues as we find them. Page Builder and all of our other plugins are developed on GitHub https://github.com/siteorigin/.

    Thanks Andrew,
I certainly will do that and if I get it resolved I will come back and post solution/comments from them here.
