Embedded maps within SiteOrigin ‘Tabs’ not displaying

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Hello,
I’m unable to get any kind of embedded map to display within a SiteOrigin tab. I found this older post, and at the very end the person says that embedding a Google Maps iFrame worked for him; but it still doesn’t work for me: https://siteorigin.com/thread/google-maps-widget-in-tabs-fails/

I also tried using a separate maps plugin to generate a shortcode to paste within my Tab content; this doesn’t work either.

Is there a way to solve this?

If I purchase SiteOrigin Premium, can I nest your Google Maps widget within the Tabs widget and have a map display properly?

Thank you!

    Hi Cindy

    Thanks for reaching out.

SiteOrigin Premium Tabs Addon offers a Layout Builder in each panel. The Layout Builder is a mini-instance of Page Builder, you can insert an Editor widget to render a shortcode or insert a SiteOrigin Maps widget directly. Shortcode rendering, unfortunately, isn’t possible in the Text content type within each tab panel.
