Email Icon in Social Media Widget

Hi,

First, this is a GREAT theme! I am planning to use it on my other websites as well! You have been very helpful and have had a quick response in answering my other questions… so thank you!

My new problem… I added the email icon to my menu bar via the social media widget but when I click on the icon (from my homepage) it opens a new tab with a blank screen. I checked, and it appears I entered my email address correctly into the widget form. Can you please advise me on what I may be doing incorrectly.

    Hi,

    well, I think you don’t have a mail client (for example Outlook) installed on your PC, is that correct?
    I’ve installed Outlook, and the social media button works perfect.

    That’s correct, I only have Windows live mail.

    Glad to hear things are going well.

    Your mail link is correct. It opens up OS X Mail on my side. So just a local problem on your computer.

    I did a bit more reading on this and confirmed the problem is most likely no mail client set as default on your computer.

    Hope that explains it little more.
