10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Hello again!

I can see EDITOR inside Appearance if I put http://test.hormibom.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php the site says me that I don’t have enough permission for do that.

What I’m doing wrong?

I’m using this versions: Black Studio 2.2.3 Page Builder 2.1.2

    Hi Felix

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please keep in mind that all WordPress overwrite their own folder during theme updates so any changes made via Appearance > Editor will be lost. If you need to edit theme files directly, please use a child theme:

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

If you need to make CSS changes please use Appearance > Custom CSS:

    https://siteorigin.com/basics/modifying-theme-design-with-custom-css/

Not being able to access Appearance > Editor could be a file permissions issue. Please see the first paragraph under the image here:
