Editor character error

8 years ago · Last reply by Mateusz Mizia 8 years ago

Hello!

I have same issue as many folks here. After update SiteOrigin Editor doesn’t recongise Polish letters like “ą ś ć ó ź ł”. Instead I get another characters.

On site everything is fine until I decide to update text with SiteOrigin Editor. Then I have to manually change every bad letter before saving. Otherwise wild characters will appear on site as well. I checked database fields, there are Polish letters in my text fields. I believe there is a problem with how SiteOrigin Editor acquire them, related to encoding/collation.

Please fix this issue. Its really annoying.

    Hi Mateusz,

This should be fixed in the latest update of the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, 1.9.7? If you’re not using this version, please try updating. If this issue is still occurring for you after updating, please try clearing your browser cache.
