Editing translated pages via WPML, is not storing changes for the sitebuilder.

Hi,

I don’t know if this is update related or not, since we had all this installed for a while and kept it up to date, but only this week we started to translate actual pages and this issue presented itself.

What can we do:
We can edit & save the original English pages using the sitebuilder for the layout. All these changes are saved correctly & are also visible on the front-end.

What isn’t working:
We create a duplicate of the original English page into any other language, lets say Dutch for now, We can load the “Dutch” duplicate & it shows the original English page layout & content. We can edit this to replace the English texts with their Dutch translations. But once we press update & the process is completed the edit page is reloaded like normal, but the content doesn’t seem to have saved. Also on the front-end the content is not changed.

The odd thing:
The revisions of the translated page does show the changes in the ‘text-view’.
Also when I disable the sitebuilder plugin, the changes are there. On both the front- and back-end.

I’m at a loss what it could be. Our wp is up to 4.5.1, both WPML & sitebuilder are up to date.

Any clue as to what might cause this?

I did read another report, I think on the wp repository support of the plugin, that someone has a similar problem with polylang.

I hope you can help us, as now we either cant change the layout of our pages or we can’t have translations.

Kind regards,

Martijn

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Martijn

Sorry to hear about the hassle. It’s been a while since we’ve done testing with WPML, Page Builder should be working with it without issue. Could you perhaps email me a ZIP copy of WPML to Private Snippet? I’ll take a look ASAP. Please, make the email out to Andrew.

    Thanks
